Vök Baths currently lists 7,690 ISK for adults, 3,590 ISK for ages six to fifteen and free entry for children aged five or under; towels, swimwear and robes can be rented separately. The listed summer hours (15 June to 15 September) are 10:00–23:00, while other seasons are 12:00–22:00, with pool access ending fifteen minutes before closing. That can work after an East Iceland transfer, provided dinner and the next drive do not still sit ahead of you.
Forest Lagoon currently operates daily from 09:00 to midnight, with guests out of the pools by 23:30. Warm, Calm and Delight levels have different inclusions; Warm requires a separate towel rental, while higher levels may include a towel and drinks. Guests under sixteen need a guardian aged eighteen or over, and children under twelve may not enter after 20:00. Five minutes by car is only the final piece on the map. The easily missed work is parking, finding swimwear, showering and drying, separating wet clothes and towels, then finding dinner or a room with self check-in. The common North Iceland mistake is drawing Akureyri, Forest Lagoon and Mývatn as a short line that can be repeated at will. They share a map, but each serves a different morning: Akureyri supports the city and westbound travel, Mývatn supports geothermal and volcanic landscapes, and Forest Lagoon supports an Akureyri evening.
