Fosshotel Hellnar sits at the western end of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, away from Route 1 and town-sized errands. Its address works when you can drop the bags in the afternoon and walk towards the coast, or when a western activity starts the next morning. It does not solve supermarket, fuel or multi-restaurant needs; handle those before leaving a larger town.
