Use the next 20 minutes to protect the refundable parts

Put the five possible bases on one map
Húsavík, GeoSea, Goðafoss, Mývatn and Akureyri are not alternatives in one compact area. A fallback still needs a way out
After a Húsavík cancellation, GeoSea is the easiest indoor option to connect, but check opening hours and prices: winter opening is 12:00–22:00, summer opening runs as late as midnight, and adult admission can change. If you are already in Mývatn, Visit Mývatn's Hverir, Krafla, Dimmuborgir and Hverfjall can form a ticket-free nature day, provided roads, paths and daylight allow it. Mývatn Nature Bath currently carries closure information related to works; do not treat an old article's opening status as today's guarantee.
Akureyri works well as a city workday: supplies, restaurants, coffee, laundry and a chance to reorganise your bags before splitting tomorrow's westbound route. - Do roads, daylight and your party's energy allow an extra long drive at short notice?
- If you still want a fallback activity, have you checked the supplier, meeting point, cancellation deadline and direct product link?
If two questions still have no answer, do not open a hotel platform or rush to buy a replacement ticket.
