Which honeymoon night deserves the upgrade?
I would first look for a night with no fixed meeting point, no flight and no cross-region drive. It might be a full city day in Reykjavík, or a countryside base after the South Coast, when the next day requires only a short move. That is when a view, bath or restaurant nearby has a chance to be used rather than opening the curtains for ten seconds at midnight.
The arrival night and the night before departure usually do not qualify. Then ask what you actually want from the upgrade—sunrise, a bath, a slow breakfast or a quiet night.
